For Parents and Kids

Yes, we’re health professionals, but we’re also parents who perform calendar gymnastics on a regular basis. We’ll work with you to schedule appointments around your family’s important events. You can choose the appointment reminder that works best for you—phone, email or text—and we won’t get all huffy if you’re a few minutes late.

Parents are always welcome in the clinical area (but kids, we won’t ignore you if Mom is chair-side). At each visit, you’ll get a progress report and a chance to ask questions.

We promise to make each visit as comfortable and fun as possible. For our teen-aged patients, that means no nagging and extra space if they don’t feel like talking much. For younger kids, who are excited and a little nervous about getting braces, we’ll share the excitement, while being attentive to any worries they may have as well. Whatever age, your child is part of the team. We’ll ask for her opinion and help motivate her to be her most cooperative self throughout the treatment process.

For Adults Seeking Treatment

The vast majority of our team have worn braces as adults. We get it! We see orthodontic treatment as just one of many ways to be your best self.

No one is "vain" or "too old" to get orthodontic treatment, and if you decide braces or Invisalign is for you, we’ll help you understand both the functional and cosmetic values of choosing one of these routes.

For our adult patients, we promise to let you know what to expect. We won’t "soft-sell" the discomfort, we’ll tell you the exact sequence of your treatment, and we’ll give you a completion date (along with updates about whether we’re still on schedule). And, before we start any procedures, we’ll make sure you understand the importance of wearing retainers—for life.
